Suzanne graduated with Honours from the University of Leeds in 2008. She completed her first year in general practice in North Yorkshire and then joined the Dental Foundation Training Scheme, completing three years of hospital-based training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine. She completed her Specialist Training in Oral Surgery in the South West of England, alongside a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning for Health Professionals from the University of Bristol, which gained her Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. She started to develop her practice in implantology in 2020 by completing the ITI Certificate. She currently works across three Portman practices as a Specialist in Oral Surgery placing implants.

After qualifying in 2022 from the University of Glasgow, I began working in general practice in Ayr and joined Oak Tree, Kilsyth in August 2023. I enjoy several aspects of dentistry with a passion for managing dentally anxious patients and cosmetic dentistry, recently completing a course on clear aligners. Coming from a background where both my parents worked in the NHS has given me the desire and motivation to work within a community and help patients gain more confidence with their smile and to feel at ease through treatment.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling around Scotland and abroad, and have been a keen yoga enthusiast.

Nina joined Oak Tree Dental clinic in 2024. She completed an honours degree in Virology at the University of Glasgow in 2019 before pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Oral Health Sciences at the University of Dundee. Nina is passionate about all aspects of dental therapy but has a special interest in restorative dentistry and paediatrics.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her two dogs.
